This is a very well preserved death bed association of Promicroceras and Xipheroceras. The Ammonites are very well preserved in honey calcite amongst a piece of fossilised wood. There are 18 specimens on this piece and i have spent 17 hours work exposing the Ammonites. A beautiful and rare piece..
The specimens measure upto 3.6cm across and matrix measures 18.5 x 14.5cm
