This is a well preserved example of a Meg tooth with near perfect serrations. The tooth has a small amount of damage to one side of the blade and to the very tip which looks to have occurred during the animals life The deposit in Java is a fresh find and slowly material is coming to market. The deposit is an inland location and unlike the the teeth from the USA the teeth have the serrations present. The tooth is in very good shape with nearly all of the serrations still present.
The Tooth measures 4 - 9/16 inches (from tip to root, diagonally).
